Take Route 95 North to 295 North. Watch for signs for Exit 28 and Route 1, Coastal Route, Bath-Brunswick.

After taking Exit 28, stay on Route 1 through Brunswick. After 10 to 15 minutes you will cross the Bath bridge. About another 15 minutes later you will cross the bridge in Wiscasset. The Newcastle-Damariscotta exit is 10 or 15 minutes after Wiscasset. Take a right down the ramp into Newcastle.

On your right coming down the ramp is the view of the two towns; a bridge connects them. Cross the bridge (this is Main Street), and as you start up the hill you will see the First National Bank of Damariscotta on the right. Take a right directly after the bank onto Route 130, which you stay on for approximately 12 miles.

Route 130 will narrow as you come into the little village of New Harbor. You will come to a fork in the road with the burgundy Harbor Ice Cream stand in the center of the fork. Bear left, traveling past the Methodist Church. Almost immediately you will come to South Side Road—turn left again here (Reilly’s Market will be on your right). Proceed down the big hill (the harbor is on the left) to a white, three-story Victorian house on the right. The wooden THOMPSON HOUSE sign hangs on an oak tree in front; our office is at the head of the driveway.

Our twenty-one cottages are scattered around the peninsula; when you arrive please come to the office so we can show you  to your cottage.
